Bryan Burnett with two hours of artists you have pretended to like.Sounds ominous...
I think this is a non non theme.
Certainly a tough one for EZ!Unless he strikes an unholy alliance with a Proclaimers' fan!!
Captain BeefheartFrank ZappaDevoTom Petty (;-)

What a tit! Didn't notice the new thread... today's shouts on the previous page.
The FB could do with them Prof. Heading towards Human League proportions with this theme.Dearame. Wonder how this one got past the theme committee.
Busy on the phones tonight?
You could be right Adam...
Why not indeed Norrie! Has Paolo taken the bait yet?
No he didnt. Must be busy setting the odds for longest distance travelled to a PRoclaimers gig...

I heard a wee bit. It didn't seem that bad then BB played Cliff!
Just over half the records played last night came from FB.Not saying that means anything.....Here Norrie, you must have a few long distance tales for this theme!

C'mon the suspense is killing us...
Was that oor Henri getting announced as a grandad last night???
Adam been to lots of gigs but not so many abroad other than Broooce. A few in Vegas and New York. I'm looking forwrad to seeing Dales list.
Yes indeed. My breath is truly bated.
I hope you're not still holding your breath...
Tickets for David Byrne and St Vincent at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall were acquired well in advance. I was then asked to attend a meeting in London on the same day. Will I/won't I go to the concert swithering but eventually decided to go for it.Luckily the meeting didn't go over time but it was still a mad rush for train/plane/bus to make it to Glasgow city centre. When I got to the RCH it was announced that the concert would start half an hour later than I expected so I even had time for an overpriced but leisurely pint at the bar!
Well Kelvin Dale, I give up.On soundalikeys I rememberedBuddy Holly - Adam Faith - What do you want?Who of Les Gray, Alvin and Cliff sounded most like Elvis?
Yep, I am indeed a grandad. Over the moon....slightly surprised the boy is called Jonah, but hey, a belter of a name for the grandchild of a man who arranges marine insurance..all well though, absolutely thrilled.regardez yousehenri
When grandparents enter the door, discipline flies out the window.Congratulations to all.

Good news, Henri. Lots of fun with less of the accompanying worry.I saw Norrie at the Mott The Hoople gig singing along to All The Young Dudes in the front row of the balcony.
I'm not a grandad either!Welcome back Glen.
How was the trip Glen?
You sure did Glen! Why did you not say hello.
Once bitten, twice shy, Norrie.
I tried to meet you but your entourage wouldn't let me through. I said I knew you but apparently they all say that.Cambridge was buzzing with talk of a recent visit by a Scotsman from South America.
Dear Oh that's not nice... poor Glen.
In our part o the world, you are a "Dey", Henri. Congratulations to you and your family!I'm no ready tae be a Dey in 2013 Adam. Time for that, but no this year!DC
Who are you on FB then Mr Dale??You're no that Suzanne Gillies are ye?
Yescheers frae applecross
May I add my congratlations to Henri.
Glen, while you were away the Upstart from Alloa has stolen your prediction crown.Kelvin in the Dale - Does this "paulmccartney/cash.............'new ways'." exist? Send me a link.
A_f_R........of course it exists.its also known as ....'early days'.......same difference.....and to any of the producers who may eavesdrop in on this little cabal...........its truly shocking there was no place found for a song dedicated to a murdered black working class Londoner whose parents have been 'truly heroic' in their pursuit of justice.I'll bet if he'd been a fictional cowboy called H.Ero he'd have got a shout....but that maybe sums up BBC Scotland for you.cheers frae the dale
Losing my prediction crown? - I didn't see that coming.
They used to laugh when I said I was going to be a comedian. They're not laughing now.
Man walks into a bar - ouch!
Walk into an antiques shop and shout... "What’s new?"
After he got out Billy got a job in a garage off the manor, met a nice shop assistant and settled down. Last I heard he was buying a twin pram. Shows all he needed was a chance.Evening all.
Just had a shout... did Andy Kaufman fake his death?
F.F.S. I can't stand how quiet we're becoming.. here's a starter "what's the consensus on the Hydro"? Good, bad, indifferent? It's just an idea feel free to suggest a better discussion topic.
The sound was excellent but basically it's a bg concrete box. You obviously have to choose your seats carefully to get a decent view of the stage too.
I'm gonnae get standing the next time to see if I can see anything ;-0 Anybody going to the Impact Wrestling?
The Hydro?Crieff or Peebles?
Haven't been yet but thought the design was to enhance the viewing as well as the listening experience. Gong to Aussie Floyd and the eagles.
Gong? you'll meet Thing-Fish then. Glad to hear they''ve made the big time. Someone gonnae tell BB?
Sorry y'all it's just "troll" withdrawal symptoms
C.I.N. "Does BBC Programming influence you into giving"?
Yes, giving up!
I know, what's on Beeb4?
Oh f--k, Macca!
Typical Beeb & their special audience 8-(Chris Evans etc
OK, I'll offer a wee book review since I haven't been to the Hydro. I'm not desperate to go since I love grotty wee venues, but it all depends who comes that I know I won't get to see anywhere else. The book's called The Train in the Night (A Story of Music and Loss) by Nick Coleman. Nick's a music journalist and from out of the blue he was struck down by Sudden neurosensory hearing loss - literally deafening tinnitus, vertigo, nausea, pain, the lot. And nothing to be done about it. The book explores his life in music, especially his teenage years, his attempts to adjust to a life of deafness, a life that seems at its lowest point to be not worth living and finally his finding some sort of way forward. A lot of the book is very entertaining despite the sadness.I commend it to the bloggers.Anyone read Uncle Vic's book? Anyone read this?
Train in the night looks interesting.Key of Fife... nope!I've had a similar experience but it was on the last Balloch train one Friday night.
George, does your overtime get marked Cu(NO3)2 on your payslip?
No DC it doesn't and it's Community Liaison Officer to you.BTW you're nicked!
A Community Liaison Officer, in The Kingdom, cleans lavviesAnd I've been stolen?
No way.. you've made that up!You can go sleep at home tonight if you can get up and walk away
You accusing me of talkin sh ite?Where's mah walkin stick....
Dear Blog Meister, have you seen Pin Ups Radio Show on Spotify?
Is that oor Adam on off the ball
Nah. Wisnae me.What happened?
Local band Holy Pistol Club supported Mott the other night. They sounded very promising. This one reminds me of something else - Jezabels' Endless Summer?
Who supported Depeche Mode
Changed days - I can remember when Depeche Mode would have supported The Who.
They were a substitute for another guy
He sang in the wrong key
He! We won't get fooled again!
