    1. I think Revolver's their best. I also like Let It Bleed but it was No. 78 on this list.

Thin Lizzy is not a British band.

  4. So that's my mad weekend of gigging done. Move over, Norrie. Both excellent nights and the second particularly enjoyable since Roddy turned up - as we all know, he's notorious for no-shows.

So what's up next? No tickets in the drawer, that won't do.

    2. Gaie, Gaie, Gaie. There's no need for you to be dragging yourself out on these cold winter nights when you have 1975 and 1982 on Pick of the Pops! Just slip on that nice shawl you got for xmas, a mug of something nice and hot by the fire and Tony on the iPlayer. Priceless.

    3. Adam, you could not have picked 2 worse years in terms of anything I want to remember from then! Never, never, never!!

The Punch Brothers name keeps popping up everywhere since said you were going, Glen, and they look well worth seeing, as does Siobhan Millar, with James Grant in her band. But I've just opened a nice letter from Glasgow City Council with a fine for driving in a bus-lane. Utter b******s. So that's my pocket money spent for now. Cretins.

    5. Adam, you really don't want me to look at the playlist if that's those ill-fated years. My language, usually so gentile, might deteriorate.

    6. I got caught in a bus lane too. I was running an old lady into town after a funeral. They're making a fortune from them. George Square is now virtually inaccessible to private cars.

I prefer to think of them as taxi lanes.

    9. Nelson Mandela Place it was it was and I was running my son to an early train on January 2nd. Hardly a soul to be seen. So the moral is, give them the fare instead and let Scotch Git drive them through the city.

    10. I got caught as well. The one at Nelson Mandela Place. How rude.

Its great how the guy on the right is trying his damnnest to look hard - not at all keen on touching butts. However, with nick nack paddywack in your lyrics you’re always going to be fighting a losing battle.
